Woke up at 5:30pm today! Started of the day like I start any other day by catching up with the current news. The news lately hasn’t been very positive. 200 yard wide tornado in Atlanta to the Georgia Dome reigning debris in the middle of a basketball game, and the current economical atmosphere. Followed up on the crane accident that left 24 people injured and 3 critically injured. At this moment there were still 3 people missing. Hope the best for everyone involved in this incident. Thousands of New Yorkers walk under these huge construction cranes on a daily basis without even taking notice of what is happening above them. Working in midtown I walk under these huge mechanical contraptions on a daily basis. With more and more high rise buildings being constructed in the city these cranes have become a staple in the city skyline. I guess what I am trying to say is take care people and be aware of your surroundings.
