Ricardo Steakhouse

fot05Mon034217

Headed up to Harlem to meet up Kevin and Carolina for dinner the other day. Haven’t chilled with them in a while so definitely good to catch up. Went to  check out Ricardo Steakhouse in Spanish Harlem. If you are in the area make sure to check it out. It has the feel of a high end steakhouse but the service, the diverse people in the place, and the music (never been to a steakhouse that played hip hop and R&B) made you feel rite at home. I had the Ricardo Platter which came with strip steak, grilled pork chop rice, beans, mashed potatoes and sweet plantains. The dish was properly portioned, served just the way i asked, and tasted great.

Only minor complaint was the wait for the table. It was a Friday night so it was packed and the 20 minute wait for a table turned into a 45 minute. Overall I enjoyed the experience, the food was  great, the place serves prime cuts, price is reasonable, in a casual but yet sophisticated and refined atmosphere.
